The semester is coming to a close. Now is the last chance to put any final touches on grades before finals. Grades are due in one week, December 17, 2015 at 12:30pm. The most important thing at this point is STUDYING! Studying for finals is the last bit of hope one can have in order to pass their classes with a C or better.
For 10th and 11th graders, it is crucial to earn good grades for the semester. Colleges take into consideration GPAs from 10th and 11th grade.
The end of the semester is also a wake up call for all seniors who plan to graduate on June 8, 2016. Seniors’ grades still count for colleges, so senioritis can not occur this year!
Some students were asked if they felt like their grades were up to par this semester and if they were ready to start second semester.
“(I) am partially confident”, said Rene Pelayo (12th grade). “If I pass this semester then I am ready and if I do not then I will be worried”, declared Rene Pelayo.
“Not this time”, said Kenneth Foster (12th grade). “Yes because I am ready to turn over into a new semester so I can start over and try harder,” replied Kenneth Foster.
As one can see, the students at King Drew Medical Magnet High School are clearly ready to move forward and continue onto the next school semester.
