Class of 2016 your time is quickly approaching! This semester is moving quickly and as college applications are coming to a close, students are receiving a reality check when it comes to growing up. Now is the time that many students have to decide what they want to do after high school. Whether you want to go to college, the military, or start a career this is the start on the road to success.
It is important for seniors to get their life together for their last year of high school because after high school seniors will be hit with reality.
With graduation 7 months away, many students displayed excitement about graduating and moving on with life. Surprisingly, some students have their entire lives planned out from graduation on out. It is interesting to see that students are prepared for the real world.
Two seniors were interviewed and were asked if they were ready to graduate. Both answered yes. Then they were asked upon their plans after graduation. “My plans are to go to college and [start] my career which is mechanical engineering,” said Daniel Salgado. “I’m going to community college and then I’m going to transfer,” said Darren Daniel Stokes.
These students were also asked what they were most excited about when it comes to graduating. “Partying…living, doing what I want to do,” said Darren Daniel Stokes. “Money [to] spend on my family,” said Daniel Salgado.
Class of 2016 students are clearly excited to graduate and move on in life. It is the start to a successful life going forward.
